Hello! I'm in a rather dire financial situation which involves fears over not being able to afford food, not being able to heat the house and the possibility of sitting in the dark at the weekend because we can't afford more electric. Oh, and Christmas is in a month and it would be nice to have a tree and get people presents ;D
So I am offering comic commissions. They're £10 each and you would get something like the examples below. You can be a specific or as vague as you like and I'll draw pretty much anything (Nothing too graphic though). If you're interested just send me a note! Or any questions just ask here or note ;D

Regular commissions are open too (just follow the link at the top of the journal)
Also, I've made some filled Christmas stockings. You can find them (And some more things in the near future) in my Etsy shop.
Oh, I wish i could help you hon - I know only too well what it's like to be in that situation (currently awaiting my next pay day with baited breath!) I hope you get lots of commissions!
Oh, and another thing about the candles, if you get enough, they can actually warm up a room. It was winter when our power was off, and I thought we'd freeze. What ended up happening was I would close my bedroom door, and light like ten candles, and over maybe 20 minutes the room was quite toasty.
I understand how you're feeling. Last year we didn't have a phone, and had our power turned off and it was hard... Thankfully we only had that happen for about a week though. If you end up not being able to pay the bill, I have some "survival tips" for you (I feel ridiculous even talking about this, what has happened to the world?!).
Buy a lot of candles (especially bigger ones because they last longer). If you have dollar stores in the UK, get them there ^_^ Matches or lighters to light them too.
Buy foods that won't spoil too quickly and can be eaten without being refrigerated or cooked. We live in an apartment, so the hot water could not be turned off in our suite (so we could still shower). If you live in a house, then you don't have that option. You can however pay a little fee and use the showers at the public pools.
We're also having financial difficulties (much like the ones you're facing) and are fighting just to get by. I'm used to it by now though, so I'm not complaining. I've learned that things can get really bad, and that you can get through it and become a little tougher than you thought you were. It also makes you thankful for what you do have, and can get the creative juices going.
I know you'll get through this okay, whatever happens. You're a strong, talented girl, and you're going to make it. I'm sure of it.
PS: I have yet another business idea I'll be emailing you right now (or rather facebooking you with)
Oh! And what is your paypal address? I think I may have a few dollars in paypal and if I do I'd like you to have it.
Hehe, thanks We luckily have a few large candles (my mum's gotten them as gifts and sort of hoarded them lol). We had a black out for about a day last week and we used them then - it was quite cozy I'm gonna stock up on them now! Thanks for all that! I'll keep it in mind. We usually have very little money - every now and then we just end up a little worse off for some reason.
): Sorry to hear that! I wish you to be rich!! ;3; We'll get rich together!
